E-S3 Shadow (GMAX Version) for Flight Simulator 2002 (Freeware).

Features full animation using GMAX. Full 3D Virtual Cockpit with night lighting and moving controls, Folding Wings, Tail Hook, Passenger door with night lighting, Nose wheel steering, Fowler Flaps, etc. etc.

Description:
U.S. only Jet aircraft (Carrier-based), electronic reconnaissance mission aircraft. The Shadow provides indications and warnings for the Battle Group Commander.

Features (Continued):
The E-S3 does not have a Bombay like the S-3B, so don't try to open it.
*****IMPORTANT***** If you can't get the wings to fold/Doors to open,
you need to make sure that your keyboard Assignments are set up correctly. Go to Options/Controls/Assignments and select Event Category and then select General Aircraft Commands and make sure next to Tail Hook it says SHIFT + T. Under Wing Fold/Unfold it should say SHIFT + Q.
For Doors it should say SHIFT + E. If you have your keyboard assignments set up differently, disreguard the above. If the wings fold/unfold on the Corsair and the doors open and close on the default aircraft, then it will work on this aircraft. If they don't work on this aircraft, then something is configured wrong or your pressing the wrong keys!!!!!!

Light Controls:
Turn on the Lights with "L", turn off "L".

Formation Lights:
The green formation lights do not work on this model due to an error with Microsofts MAKEMDL.EXE program, i.e. all textures on entire aircraft turn white when HASNIGHTLIGHT is enabled. When they fix it, I will fix it!

Installation:
Unzip to a temporary folder, then move the unzipped folder (E-S3) to your FS2002\Aircraft folder. This aircraft will appear in your Aircraft Selection list under Lockheed, not E-S3. This is for ATC purposes. I've included the default lear panel and sounds. I've also included Mike Hambly's A10 sound files (a102ksnd.zip). Just unzip these into the S-3B's sound folder, not the main sound folder and overwrite when asked. Take the 2 files out of the "effects" folder and put them into the main "Effects" folder. You can also change the main panel (2D) with another, but I wouldn't recommend changing the VC panel. If your having problems installing this aircraft, I suggest you head over to www.SurClaro and read there excellent FS2002 Aircraft installation tutorial.

Disclaimer:
I have designed this version from scratch using FS Design Studio(tm)
Version 1.6B, Aircraft Animator Version 1.2E and GMAX Version1.1. This Aircraft will work in FS2002 only! I haven't tested it in CFS2. If this A/C dumps your computer, I am not responsible. I have tested this aircraft for months and have never had a lock-up or any other problem. My system configuration is WinME, PIII 700E with 384MB SDRAM, VooDoo3 3000 and GeForce2 MX400.
